
The City of Eagle Pass and Sul Ross State University established an accelerator program for the Main Street Incubator aimed at supporting aspiring entrepreneurs and local business owners with a ribbon cutting Tuesday, Jan. 21.
This initiative is designed to provide guidance and resources to individuals and businesses navigating the complexities of launching and expanding their ventures. The program will leverage the expertise o f Sul Ross State University professors and industry professionals to offer participants invaluable mentorship, training, and tools to succeed. The partnership creates a dynamic environment where innovation meets education, ensuring meaningful growth for both participants and the community.
“This is a tremendous step forward for our city and the region,” said Mayor Rolando Salinas. “By working hand in hand with Sul Ross State University, we are creating opportunities that empower our residents to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams and contribute to the vitality of Eagle Pass.”
City Manager Homero Balderas also expressed enthusiasm for the project. “This partnership represents a shared vision of progress and prosperity.
