ALPINE, Texas- The Sul Ross Lady Lobo softball team dropped a 16-0 ASC decision to East Texas Baptist University in the series closer Saturday.

Saturday’s contest was called in the fifth inning due to the mercy rule.

The Tigers scored in every inning and posted a seven-run attack in the top of the second.

The Lady Lobos drop to 2-3 on the season and 0-3 in ASC play. ETBU improves to 8-0 and 3-0.

Sully will visit Odessa Tuesday for a non-conference doubleheader against Division II U.T. Permian Basin.
