Spring 2020 semester classes at Sul Ross State University are scheduled to begin on Monday, January 13. Payment deadline for students who preregistered is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10.
Lobo Days for new and transfer students are scheduled for January 10 and 11. Move-in to residence halls is also scheduled for January 10 and 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days.
Regular registration for the spring 2020 term ends on Sunday, January 12.
The university will close on Monday, January 20 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Midterm exams will be held on Friday, March 6. Spring break is March 9-13. The university will also close on Friday, April 10 for Good Friday as part of the three-day Easter weekend.
Spring honors convocation will be held on Monday, April 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Marshall Auditorium. The last class day before finals is Wednesday, April 29. Final exams are scheduled for May 1, 4-6 (Friday, Monday-Wednesday).
Spring commencement for Sul Ross State University Alpine campus will be held on Friday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pete P. Gallego Center. Sul Ross Middle Rio Grande Campuses will hold spring commencement on Saturday, May 9 at 3:30 p.m. at the International Center for Trade on the Eagle Pass campus.
