LONGVIEW, Texas- Freshman forward Jack Kirkpatrick sported a team-high 14 points but the Sul Ross men’s basketball team fell, 94-69 to host LeTourneau University Thursday evening.
The Yellowjackets started the contest with a 7-0 run and went to the break leading 38-29.
Sul Ross could pull no closer than three, seven point deficits in the second half as LeTourneau coasted to the 94-69 victory.
Tristen Licon and B.J. Hollis tallied 13 points each while Brayden Fry added 12 in the effort.
The Lobos take on East Texas Baptist at 1:00 p.m. Saturday from Marshall.
