BELTON, Texas- Sul Ross State University men’s basketball dropped a 95-75 ASC decision to University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton Thursday night.
Tristen Licon led the effort with 17 points while Aaron Anderson and Gary Ringo, JR posted 13 and 11 points respectively.
Ringo led rebounders with eight boards.
Sully struggled from three-point range at 7-of-29 shooting including an 0-16 showing in the second half.
The Lobos trailed by five at the half but the Cru outscored the visitors by a 48-33 margin in the closing frame.
Sul Ross drops to 10-14 on the season and 5-10 in conference competition. Mary Hardin-Baylor improves to 19-5 and 10-5.
The Lobo men will wrap up the season Saturday in Austin with a 1:00 p.m. conference tip at Concordia University.
