The SRSU Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted their 2nd annual Field Day April 2. SAAC volunteers facilitated sports-themed stations and participated alongside students from AISD for a morning of fun and games! This event is sponsored by the Office of Civic Engagement & Student Assistance and included approximately and 20 SRSU athlete volunteers and 25 students from Alpine schools.
“We love to be a growing part of this community and want every chance to pour back into it,” said Assistant Athletic Director Clayton Garcia. “Events like this bring our SAAC students as much joy as it does for the AISD students who participate.”
