BELTON, Texas- The Sul Ross Lady Lobo softball team fell 1-0 to host University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in the series closer Friday at Dee Dillon Field.

The Cru scored the lone run of the contest in their half of the fourth.

The home team outpaced the Lady Lobos in an 8-4 hitting margin.

Jodie Vaughn recorded the loss as starter.

Sul Ross drops to 16-18 overall and 10-13 in ASC competition.  Mary Hardin-Baylor improves to 20-14 and 15-6.

The Lady Lobos head to Odessa Tuesday, April 16 for a non-conference doubleheader with U.T. Permian Basin.

First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
