
Sul Ross State University will offer a Summer Housing Scholarship for the 2023 summer terms for all new students, including new freshmen and new transfers in Alpine.
The Summer Housing Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are interested in living on campus during the summer terms. The scholarship is available for residence halls only and covers the cost of housing. Students are responsible for the cost of their meal plan.
To qualify, new freshman must complete a scholarship application and a Residential Living application and be approved to live on campus. Additionally, they must enroll in six semester credit hours for the summer term in which they are living on campus. The scholarship applies for both terms as long as they are enrolled in six semester credit hours per term. Dual credit students do not qualify for this scholarship.
New transfer students must have a 2.0 GPA and meet satisfactory academic progress to be eligible for the scholarship. They must also complete a scholarship application and a Residential Living application and be approved to live on campus. Additionally, they must enroll in six semester credit hours for the summer term in which they are living on campus, and the scholarship applies for both terms as long as they are enrolled in six semester credit hours per term.
