Sul Ross State University has announced the 2019 Lobo football schedule in a release by head coach John Pearce Monday, Feb. 25.

The Lobos will open the 2019 slate on the road September 14 at NCAA Division II Texas A&M University Kingsville with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.

Sul Ross then begins American Southwest Conference play with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff at McMurry University in the annual Battle of I-20 on Sept. 21.

Sully will then host East Texas Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 28 before traveling to Georgetown Oct. 5 for a 1:00 p.m. conference bout at Southwestern University.

The Lobos return to Jackson Field Oct. 12 for a 6:00 p.m. ASC game against Hardin-Simmons.

Following a 6:00 nightcap at Louisiana College Oct. 19, Sul Ross will entertain Texas Lutheran University in a 6:00 p.m. Homecoming kickoff Oct. 26.

The Lobos then hit the road Nov. 2 and 9 for afternoon games at Howard Payne (4:00 p.m.) and Belhaven (12:00 p.m.) before closing out the season Nov. 16 against Defending NCAA Division III National Champion University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Kickoff against the Crusaders is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. as the Lobos celebrate Veterans/Law Enforcement Appreciation and Senior Day.
