The Sul Ross Lady Lobo volleyball team dropped a 3-0 ASC decision to visiting Concordia University in the season finale Saturday, Oct. 20.
Scores were 25-19, 29-27 and 25-22.
The Lady Lobos held the lead for most of the second set.
A Tornado service ace tied the game at 16 as the visitors went on to sport a four-point lead at the 21-17 mark.
Sul Ross recovered and tied the set at 25 off a kill by Annika Canaba with a set up by Kylee Davis.
A spike by Autumn Kilpatrick broke the tie for a 27-26 Lady Lobo lead at set point
An opponent kill coupled with another Concordia ace and a Sul Ross hitting error propelled the Tornados to the 29-27 victory.
Cannaba led the effort with nine kills and 16 assists. Davis finished with 11 assists while Karigan Edwards tallied 16 digs.
Concordia improves to 16-9 on the season and 10-3 in ASC play. Sul Ross wraps up the season at 6-14 and 5-10.
