BELTON, Texas- Sul Ross State University women’s and men’s tennis teams dropped 5-2 and 7-2 decisions to University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Friday in Belton.

In the women’s match, Brooke Carmen recorded an 8-3 victory in a pro set over Alexandra Kyser in No. 1 singles.

Kelyn Likiaksa then defeated Payton Burk in another pro set, 8-6, in flight two.

In men’s action, Kyle Ferguson picked up a 1-6, 7-5, 10-8 victory over Robert Gallagan in No. 2 singles. Christopher Llamas then downed Josh Roselius in three sets, 6-3, 6-4 and 10-7.

Both women’s and men’s teams will face Concordia University Saturday in Austin.
