Sul Ross students, faculty, and staff can access their favorite digital magazines using Flipster, a next-generation magazine service that allows people to browse digital versions of the latest issues of popular magazines. The Wildenthal Library has both Flipster and hardcopy versions of magazines such as People, Sports Illustrated, Atlantic, and more, so patrons have the option of accessing the content at the Library or remotely. Students, faculty, and staff who are off-campus can simply log in with their Blackboard credentials when prompted.
The Library’s homepage highlights some of the most recent issues allowing for quick access to magazines. In addition, magazines can be downloaded to Android and Apple phones and tablets for offline reading anytime, anywhere; click here to get started. Flipster offers an easy, browse-able reading experience where users can browse magazines by category as well as perform searches for specific titles.
All 45 digital magazines can be browsed here.
