
Sul Ross State University International has signed new Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Universidad Politécnica de Piedras Negras and Instituto Tecnológico de Piedras Negras, establishing a binational dual degree program that strengthens cross- border academic collaboration between Texas and Northern Mexico.
Through these agreements, students pursuing degrees in trade, business or engineering at the partner institutions in Mexico will have the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sul Ross State University by completing additional coursework beginning in their sophomore year.
This bilateral initiative aims to develop a globally competitive workforce while supporting ongoing cross-border eMorts to enhance trade, manufacturing and technological advancement throughout the border region.
The dual degree partnership reflects Sul Ross State University’s broader mission to promote international cooperation, expand access to higher education, and foster economic growth through academic exchange and collaboration.
