Student Testimonials

“As a trainer in the banking industry, I am passionate about helping adult learners grow and develop. The EIT degree program has been a game changer for me both professionally and personally. This program has opened my eyes to the science behind adult learning, giving me a solid theoretical foundation that I apply in my corporate training sessions. Understanding how adults process and retain information has allowed me to tailor my approach and make my training more effective. One of the most exciting aspects of the program has been learning about the emerging technologies and how they are revolutionizing training for learners. I’ve also gained a deeper appreciation for the role of assessments in the learning process. The program has taught me about various assessment types and their importance in measuring not just knowledge retention, but skill application. I plan to design more meaningful evaluations that truly gauge our learners progress and readiness. My goal is to continue to add value to my corporate role by adding these new skills and knowledge. I highly recommend the EIT program!”

“The Educational Instructional Technology Graduate Program has opened my eyes to the world of EdTech. Prior to me starting this degree, I did not know this world existed! As a journalism and media teacher, I am now implementing digital citizenship and media literacy lessons into my classroom making my students more informed about social media and the internet. I am also teaching more about the new Generative Artificial Intelligence Technology that is entering our world and showing students the positives and negatives of the technology.
This program shows you how you can use technology to really reach your students in the classroom and educate your fellow teachers. It has really helped me become a better teacher to my high school students. ”
– Melissa Perner, Class of 2024

“Utilizing what I have learned in my EIT courses has helped me better meet my students where they need me, while also challenging them. EIT has helped me boost their engagement and learn about applications that provide instant formative assignments and instant feedback which is what my students need to grow. Also, my EIT courses have provided me with a lot of resources to use in the classroom and collect data from. This has facilitated my role as a teacher. ”
