
Sul Ross State University International announced Catrina Longoria will serve as the Spring 2026 commencement speaker for the ceremony on Saturday, May 9, at 2:30 p.m. at the International Center for Trade in Eagle Pass.
Longoria is a Founding Member and Partner in Longoria & Kelly, PLLC’s Eagle Pass and Carrizo Springs offices. She has been practicing law in South Texas since 2005 with a focus on real estate, oil and gas, business law and civil litigation.
As a qualified mediator in accordance with the standards of the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable, Longoria assists with conflict resolution in both general matters and family law matters. In 2010, she was named a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star in Business Litigation by Thomson Reuters. She practiced 12 years in Langley & Banack, Inc.’s South Texas offices before she founded Longoria & Kelly, PLLC.
Longoria is a member of the Maverick County Bar Association, and the Board of Directors for Eagle Pass HEROES, Inc., and South Texas All Abilities Center.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University in 2002 and her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2005, the same year she was sworn in as a member of the State Bar of Texas.
