Industrial Technology Scholarships
Mr. & Mrs. Jim Cauble Scholarship Fund $150 scholarship for full time undergraduate students majoring in Industrial Technology. Recipients must be a United States citizen, fully admitted to the University, and must have financial need as determined by information provided by the applicant, and/or a letter from the applicant’s high school principal, and/or by the ACT analysis of financial need.
Jack C. Crawford Memorial Scholarship $400 scholarship for full time undergraduate students majoring in Industrial Technology. Recipients must have at least a 2.5 over-all grade point average, be of general good character, citizenship, and a credit to the memory of Jack Crawford and to Sul Ross State University. Must be nominated by one I.T. faculty member.
Karen Lyn Graham Memorial Scholarship $500 scholarship for full time undergraduate students majoring in and have completed one year in Industrial Technology. Other qualifications include unconditional admittance, a 2.5 gpa, and the student must show leadership qualities and/or potential in Industrial Technology. Must be recommended by one I.T. faculty member.
W. C. “Bill” Leavitt Excellence Fund $1000 scholarship for full time undergraduate students who attend Sul Ross State University and study Industrial Technology as a Major. Recipients must have at least a 2.5 over-all gpa, be of general good character, citizenship, and a credit to the memory of Bill Leavitt and to Sul Ross State University. Recipients must be fully admitted to Sul Ross State University as a full time student. Must be nominated by one I.T. faculty member.
Loyd Oden Memorial Scholarship $1000 scholarship for full time undergraduate students who are attending or plan to attend Sul Ross State University and study Industrial Technology as a Major. Recipients must be of general good character, citizenship, demonstrate consideration for and helpfulness to others, and above all, a credit to the memory of Loyd Oden and to Sul Ross State University. Entering freshmen must have graduated in top 25% of their graduating class and must be unconditionally admitted to Sul Ross State University. Continuing students must have at least a 2.5 over-all GPA. Students must be recommended by their high school I.T. Teacher(s), Ag teacher(s), Coach, Principal, Superintendent, and/or SRSU Professor(s).
Victor J. Smith Memorial Scholarship $500 scholarship for full time undergraduate Junior and Senior students attending Sul Ross State University and studying Industrial Technology as a Major. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA for continued consideration, be of general good character, considerate, and helpful to others. They must also show evidence of professional interest in Industrial Arts (Technology), especially teaching.
