Dr. Suzanne Harris, the Dean of Students at Sul Ross State University, has been elected Treasurer of the Texas Association of College and University Student Personnel Administrators (TACUSPA).

TACUSPA is a statewide professional organization that provides leadership, education and professional development opportunities for student affairs professionals across Texas. The association supports practitioners dedicated to improving the student experience and promoting excellence in higher education.

As Treasurer, Dr. Harris will serve on TACUSPA’s Executive Board, overseeing the organization’s financial planning and ensuring the continued growth and sustainability of its programs and initiatives.

“Serving as Treasurer of TACUSPA is an exciting opportunity to help strengthen the student affairs profession across Texas,” said Harris. “I look forward to collaborating with colleagues statewide and bringing new ideas back to benefit students at Sul Ross State University.”

Harris, a Lobo alumnus, has been the Dean of Students since 2022. She has led initiatives that enhance student engagement, wellness and leadership development across the Sul Ross campuses in Alpine, Eagle Pass, Del Rio and Uvalde.
