The Kappa Delta Pi International Society in Education sponsors an annual service project called Celebration of Teaching and encourages all chapters to hold events to honor local teachers. Adjusting to COVID-19 requirements, the Sul Ross State University Zeta Delta Chapter sent Teacher Hero Notepads to all area teachers.
Kappa Delta Pi selected 15 top chapter service projects, and the Zeta Delta Chapter was one of those selected. The Zeta Delta Chapter received the Bronze Award for our innovative recognition of our local teachers. President Angelique Gonzales is shown with the plaque and check for $100 from Kappa Delta Pi.
