
Dr. Kevin Badgett, Dean of the College of Education at Sul Ross State University, has been selected to serve on the Texas Education Agency’s Insight to Impact (I2I) Dashboards Data Governance Committee (DGC).
This statewide committee plays a vital role in shaping how educational data is collected, managed and used to improve student outcomes across Texas. The DGC provides strategic oversight for the I2I Dashboards initiative, ensuring data quality, transparency and effective reporting for educators and policymakers.
Badgett’s appointment reflects his leadership in educational data analytics, teacher preparation and accountability systems. His participation ensures that the voices of regional universities and rural education communities are represented in the development of statewide data tools.
