Sul Ross State University will host a virtual informational session for prospective students interested in its Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership program on Wednesday, April 1, from 5 to 6 p.m. CST via Microsoft Teams.
The session will provide an overview of the doctoral program and allow participants to hear directly from program faculty, explore the cohort-based learning experience, and ask questions about admissions and coursework.
The Ed.D. program is designed specifically for superintendents, principals and school leaders, particularly those serving communities in rural and borderland regions of Texas. The program focuses on preparing experienced educators to lead school systems, address regional educational challenges and implement innovative leadership practices.
Prospective students attending the session will also learn about the program structure, expectations for doctoral candidates and opportunities to collaborate with fellow education professionals.
The priority application deadline for the fall cohort is April 15.
