What is a QEP Faculty Guide?
A QEP Faculty Guide serves as a mentor for those faculty who infuse communication skills into some of their courses as part of the QEP.
Faculty Guide Position Description
In December, Dr. Joseph Velasco (Alpine) and Dr. Tiffany Culver (RGC) were selected as SRSU’s first Faculty Guides. The QEP will supplement with additional Guides as the QEP progresses and grows at the rate of one Faculty Guide for every three faculty members teaching infused courses. Faculty Guides are compensated with a $500 stipend per semester.
Faculty Guides and those teaching Mapped Classes will open the doors to their classroom and encourage others to observe best practices in their communication-infused teaching.
