Undergraduate Admissions
First Year Students
Apply using the Texas Common Application at www.applytexas.org. A one-time, non-refundable application fee of $25 is required. Freshman are eligible to receive a fee waiver when they submit the SAT or ACT fee waiver or send proof that they are eligible for, or receive, free or reduced lunches at school.
International Students
Send Evidence of Financial Responsibility. This may be satisfied by an Affidavit of Support (Immigration Service Form I-134) or a signed statement from a U.S. citizen or foreign national committing the necessary resources in U.S. dollars for student’s expenses, such as by providing a current balance statement from an accredited banking institution.
Transfer Students
Transfer students are eligible to receive a fee waiver when they submit a copy of their financial aid award letter showing that they received a Pell grant or other need based scholarship within past year, Fax, email, or mail your fee waiver.
Veterans
Our goal is to provide all the pertinent information required for a smooth and seamless transition to all our VA students while providing excellent customer service. Veterans are afforded the same rights and must meet all academic requirements and maintain the same academic standards as any student attending Sul Ross State University.

Before a student will be admitted to Sul Ross State University, the following items must be on file in the Graduate Student Center. Call the Center, (432) 837-8052, or e-mail admissions@sulross.edu for information.
