Grassland bird experts from Sul Ross State University’s Borderlands Research Institute will hold a Field Day in Marfa on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Hosted by the Chinati Foundation, BRI staffers Dr. Mieke Titulaer, Denis Perez, and Fabiola Baeza will speak about grassland bird research and conservation, and give hands-on demonstrations of mist-netting and bird banding in the Chinati art lab.
