Theatre patrons have one final weekend to catch Sul Ross Theatre Program’s Constellations in the François Studio Theatre March 8-10. This award-winning play will show Friday and Saturday at 8:15 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Directed by Assistant Professor of Communication and Theatre Marjie Scott, the play stars sophomore theatre major Cierra Noel as Marianne and graduate student Cory Hill as Roland.
Audiences will be entranced as Marianne’s and Roland’s relationship develops across multiple universes with one word seemingly able to alter the course of love.
Constellations’ set design is by Assistant Professor of Theatre Carolyn Barrientes, with lighting design by Assistant Professor of Communication Bret Scott, costume design by Gabrielle Rule, and sound design by Desiree Rendon. The stage manager is Kendall Hughs.
Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for students and seniors, and free for Sul Ross students and faculty. Due to strong language and adult themes, the play is not recommended for children under 16. To purchase tickets, please call 432-837-8218 or visit www.sulross.edu/theatre.
