Plan now to join Sul Ross State University at the first annual Sul Ross Fest on Saturday, May 13, to celebrate the bond between SRSU and the citizens of Eagle Pass and community members from surrounding areas like Uvalde and Del Rio.
The free, family friendly event features the music of El Gran Sabor and Bravos de Ojinaga, plus a variety of activities for all ages including inflatables. Food vendors will be on hand with hamburgers, hot dogs, brisket, Mexican dishes, corn in a cup, cupcakes and more. Enjoy the music, meet and mingle with Sul Ross students and employees from all four campuses, and relax in the beautiful park.
Sul Ross Fest kicks off at 5 p.m. and runs through 10 p.m. at the Maverick County Veterans Memorial Amphitheater next to the Maverick County Lake. The event is open to the public and we look forward to seeing community members bond with our university students and employees!
