The Sul Ross State University “Communiversity” Band presents the concert VARIATIONS on Thursday, October 17, 2019, 7:30 P.M., and Sunday, October 20, 2019, 3:00 P.M. in Marshall Auditorium. Admission is free.

The band, directed by Jeffrey J. Meyer, will present a program of band classics, featuring Andrew Alegría, tenor soloist and guest conductor.

The program is suitable for all ages and includes popular marches and waltzes by Fillmore, King, and Sousa, as well as artistic repertoire by J. Clifton Williams, Randall Thompson (arranged by Barbara Lambrecht), and Ralph Vaughan Williams.
