The Sul Ross State University Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) and the Lobo Den, have merged this fall on the first floor of the Bryan Wildenthal Memorial Library in the current location of the TLC.
The partnership will combine academic advising, tutoring and student success.
Lobo Den professional advisors are responsible for advising all first time freshmen, transfer students under 30 hours, Texas Success Initiative (TSI) non-compliant students and students who have not declared a major. The objective of the professional advisor is to get students started on their way through the Core Curriculum. The TLC provides tutoring from certified student tutors in math, reading and writing as well as some sciences. The center is also available with computers, laptops and printers for a study area for all students.

The new center is open now for advising and will open Monday September 9 to include tutoring. Study Hall at TLC will open Monday, September 16.
