The Sul Ross State University Department of Institutional Effectiveness hosted a one-hour book discussion for new faculty and faculty who are Navigators in the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) on Wednesday, September 18.

Engaging Ideas: The Professor’s Guide to Integrating Writing, Critical Thinking and Active Learning in the Classroom was selected by discussion leaders Dr. Laura Payne and Dr. Sally Roche.

“This discussion group is part of the Strategic Planning Initiative to promote best instructional practices and networking among colleagues,” said Dr. Jeanne Qvarnstrom, Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness.
