The Bryan Wildenthal Memorial Library is now providing notary services to Sul Ross State University employees and the public in an announcement Tuesday, October 15.
According to its website, the library now offers personal and business notarial services for a standard fee of six dollars.
Sul Ross State University employees who wish to have university-related documents notarized should contact Resa Tyree in the Human Resource office at (432) 837-8058 or email rtyree@sulross.edu.
An updated driver’s license will be required with notarial services including witnesses, if specified. Witnesses must also provide a valid form of identification. Library staff are not available to serve as witnesses.
Oscar Jimenez serves as the library’s notary. Notarial services are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Scheduled appointments are also available.

The library also offers passport acceptance and community borrower services.
Passport walk-in service is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. No appointments are necessary.
The community borrower card is offered to eligible Big Bend residents for an annual fee of $50.
The cards are issued and renewed at the library information desk.
