Sul Ross State University invites students, parents, alumni and friends to Homecoming 2019.
Festivities kick off Friday at 7:00 p.m. with a pep rally at the Pete P. Gallego Center followed by a welcome back party at 8:00 p.m. in the Historic President’s Home.
The Homecoming parade will step off at 10:00 a.m. and head east on Holland Avenue to Jackson Field. Parade entry forms are due Oct. 23 and can be found online at https://www.sulross.edu/homecoming-parade-entry-form. Former Sul Ross State University bull rider and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) World Champion Richard “Tuff” Hedeman will serve as the Grand Marshall
Tailgating will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Lobo Lane located behind the north stands of Jackson Field.
Sul Ross and Texas Lutheran football teams will then battle in a 6:00 p.m. American Southwest Conference football game.
Sul Ross President Bill Kibler will host a breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Sunday on the second floor of the Morgan University Center to close out Homecoming Weekend.
Alumni will be treated to a weekend full of activities.
