Upon completion, students enrolled in the academy will complete 24 semester credit hours and earn the Law Enforcement Academy certificate, which can be applied to the Criminal and Forensic Science Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at Lamar State College Orange.
The Academy requires the cadets to maintain full-time academic status while attending the academy. As full-time students, cadets may be eligible for financial aid, including grants, scholarships, and loans. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for financial aid.
