All housing applications must be accompanied with a non-refundable $50 application fee in order to be processed. Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis using the date of the application fully being submitted.

Sul Ross State University has a two years live-on requirement for its undergraduate students. To learn more about the live-on requirement, click here.

All rates are final and have been approved by the TSUS Board of Regents.

All residence hall units are fully furnished with basic furnitures and come with wireless internet service. The residence halls come with central air/heating.

Students assigned to overflowed assignment housing will be assigned to double rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor of Lobo Village 1 & 2 as dictated by space requirements. Once a vacant space is available students in over assignment housing will be required to move and vacate the overflow assigned space as directed by Residential Living.

Summer housing is predominantly in the residence halls. Residents must be enrolled in the summer session that they plan to live in the residence hall.

Apartments are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis using the date of the completed housing application.

Residents must be enrolled to live in Efficiency Apartments or Lobo Pack Apartments. Lobo Pack Apartments applicants must also meet the lease’s guidelines for occupancy and provide copies of marriage license, proof of common law marriage, birth certificates, guardianship paperwork, or government issued ID as required by Residential Living staff.  All Efficiency and Lobo Pack apartment rates include all utilities and wireless internet service. All units are equipped with a stove and refrigerator. Lobo Pack Apartments units come equipped with a in-unit washer/dryer combo.

To live in the apartments during the summer, residents must be enrolled in Session I, Session II or both. To live in the apartments during the summer without taking classes, students must have their advisor send an email to reslife@sulross.edu stating that there are no classes available that will advance their degree plan. All apartment residents must continue payment through summer to maintain their apartment even if you will not be on campus.

All students living in the Residence Halls must enroll in a meal plan.

Lobo Bucks work like a bank debit card. Make a purchase at any dining location by swiping your student I.D. and the total is subtracted from the balance in your account.

Temporary Housing for Commuting Students Cost Per Person Per Night
Lobo Village Residence Halls $30 per night per person

Temporary housing for commuting students is offered on a space available basis. Students must provide their own towels, sheets, soap, personal items. Reservations for temporary housing for commuting students and questions can be made by emailing reslife@sulross.edu. Upon confirmation of availability, Residential Living will send you an email with instructions for making payments.
