The Sul Ross State University Academic Integrity Council hosted Integrity Matters Week May 1-5.
The purpose of Integrity Matters Week is to promote academic integrity before finals begin on campus. This is the second year in a row that the Academic Integrity Council has hosted this event during the spring semester.
To start the week, the council sent an email to all faculty members with information about tools and tips for promoting academic integrity in their classes. The council also launched a faculty survey to gather information that will guide council initiatives for the coming year.
Faculty members can submit responses until May 12 at the following link: https://sulross.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6gRwo8baVKgJ90a
On May 3, they hosted an Integrity Matters table in the University Center where students were given the opportunity to sign the SRSU Oath, answer questions about academic integrity, get a copy of the SRSU handbook policy on academic integrity, and play games.
