Participants in the fellowship researched practical life philosophy of emotional intelligence and the interpersonal and intrapersonal components of the Transformative Emotional Intelligence model (TEI) to further define how these skills are influenced by values, behavioral style and quality of motivation perspective.
During his visit, Short also conducted literature reviews on school coexistence and aspects that affect the development of well-being in the educational community; researched high impact academic journals to facilitate joint publications and explore the possibility of organizing conferences, lectures or seminars on the topic of study; and designed joint projects, participating in competitive calls and establishing bases for future collaborations in training courses.

It is exciting to represent Sul Ross State University in this capacity,” said Short. “This experience is particularly meaningful to me, as it allowed me to share my passion for Emotional Intelligence and connect with brilliant minds from around the world.”
