In light of the ongoing COVID-19 related disruption to on-campus learning, the SRSU Bookstore partnered with VitalSource, a digital course materials platform, to create a program called VitalSource Helps to offer free access to eBooks for students who may have lost access to course materials with the recent move to online learning.
Students who previously accessed textbooks via the library, shared a book with a classmate, or left books on campus, can visit bookshelf.vitalsource.com to access free eBooks through May 25. VitalSource Helps provides access to an expansive catalog of over 50,000 eBooks (please note, even with this large catalog, some content may not be available).
To access free materials, please use your sulross.edu email address to log in or create an account. Before you get started, we encourage you to review this: Student FAQ.
An additional resource to access free textbooks is called RedShelf. Through the generosity of publishing partners, RedShelf provides free access to digital textbooks until May 25. Students interested in this resource should visit about.redshelf.com/redshelfresponds for more information.
We’re here to help you continue your academic progress, call the SRSU Bookstore 432.837.8747 or email bookstore@sulross.edu if you have any questions.
