Sul Ross State University recognizes that access to technology in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic is challenging.
To assist students with course work, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) is offering access to WiFi or one computer lab at all four SRSU campuses by appointment only and with a valid student ID card.
Students can schedule one-hour appointments to avoid overcrowding.
Students needing access to WiFi or a computer lab can contact OIT at one of the telephone numbers listed below. A technician will be available to let students into the building.
Locations are available with limited seating to promote proper social distancing.
Locations include:
Alpine – ACR 106. WiFi is also available in the Morgan University Center for students with have a laptop or tablet computer and need internet access.
Del Rio – Building L, Room 306
Eagle Pass – Building D, Room 118
Uvalde – B115 Student Computer Lab
“If you choose to come to one of the campuses, please ensure you are not sick and have not had contact with anyone that is sick,” said Dave Gibson, Chief Information Officer. “We will practice CDC protocols and ensure that we do not have more than 10 students at any one time as well.”
