SRSU Student Accommodation
Students currently attending Sul Ross State University who need additional support through a prior diagnosed disability can request testing accommodations through Counseling and Accessibilities Services, located on the 1st floor of Furguson Hall Room 112.
The student’s Accommodation Letter must be on file with the Testing Center before they can schedule a testing appointment. A Testing Accommodation Agreement form must also be signed and returned to the Testing Coordinator before testing is administered. The Accommodation Agreement outlines the policies and rules of the Testing Center, which the student must read and agree to, as well as the student and instructor responsibilities.
Once an accommodation letter is received by the Testing Center, testing staff will make efforts to reach out to the student via email to introduce themself, establish connections, inform the student how to set up a testing appointment and remind the student of the additional support that is available to them.
Additionally, from here on (as of October 14th, 2025), all students receiving Accommodated Services from the Testing Center, will be required to read, agree to, and sign the Sul Ross State University Testing Center Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology and Medical Device Agreement Form prior to the administration of the exam.
Testing appointments can be made through our booking link or in-person at the Testing Center, located on the 3rd floor of the Briscoe Administration Building Room 302, emailing testing@sulross.edu, emailing the Testing Coordinator – Aurora Whisenhunt at aurora.lagarde@sulross.edu or over the phone at 432-837-8178.
