How to Apply to SRSU
All prospective students begin their journey at Sul Ross State University by applying through ApplyTexas, the state-supported application system. Explore the student categories below to find your application path and discover the steps you need to get started.
Freshman
High school graduates entering their first year in college. Students who earned dual credit included.
Transfer
College students who received credit from other institutions after graduating from high school.
Non-Degree Seeking
Students taking undergraduate courses without pursuing a degree at SRSU. Includes students completing prerequisites, certificates, or other non-degree coursework.
F-1 VISA International
Students neither U.S. citizens nor permanent residents in need of an F-1 VISA to attend SRSU.
Graduate
Students who completed their bachelor’s degree and seeking a master’s degree or higher.
Dual Credit
High school students enrolled in SRSU courses that count toward both high school and college credit.
