Graduate Programs in Public Administration & Political Science: Admissions and Application

Admission

Although an academic background in political science and/or history is preferred, the Master of Public Administration and Master of Arts in Political Science programs are open to students from all academic backgrounds.

Students pursuing a second master's degree may have up to twelve semester credit hours of graduate work from the completed degree program credited to the Master of Public Administration or Master of Arts in Political Science. This will occur only after full admission to the public administration/political science program has been granted by the Director of Admissions and the Chair of the Behavioral and Social Sciences department.
