Club Sports at SRSU are a great way for students to get involved in educational, recreational, and social programs. Like other student organizations, they are based on student leadership and involvement. They offer various levels of participation and commitment.
The university supports these organizations through encouragement and guidance as well as the coordination of financial resources and facilities. Club Sports provide an excellent opportunity for student to meet new people, learn new skills, and compete in extramural events. Our current Club Sport organizations include Cheerleading and Ultimate Frisbee.
Cheer
The Sul Ross State University Cheerleaders are student-athletes that promote school spirit in support of University athletic teams, faculty, staff, and alumni. SRSU Cheer serves as ambassadors of the University throughout the community. We are a cheer family that have fun, work hard, and promote LOBO pride.
The Sul Ross State cheerleaders can be seen supporting the LOBO football, volleyball, and basketball teams as well as several other events throughout the community and surrounding areas.
