Families First Coronavirus Act (FFCRA)

April 1, 2020 (WASHINGTON INSIDER ALERT) - On April 1, the Department of Labor (DOL), the Treasury Department, and the IRS issued additional guidance on the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act and the Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act, both of which are part of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). DOL’s Wage and Hour Division website contains a number of compliance assistance materials related to FFCRA leave. COVID-19 Remote Working/Telecommuting Information

University employees are encouraged to work from home, if possible. Please read the Remote Working/Telecommuting Agreement below and complete and submit the Form to your supervisor. Supervisors must approve the request in order for employees to check out aviailable equipment.  We understand that some positions will not permit working remotely and will require employees to be on campus to conduct business.  We ask that all employees on campus keep office doors locked, practice social distancing, and follow CDC guidelines. Our primary objective is to continue university operations in a limited capacity so that we do not fall behind our reporting requirements or necessary business during this situation.
