Gain Confidence on Camera for Job Seekers

Showing up on camera is required for everything these days. But how you show up looks different for each audience…friends, family, job interviews.

And if you don’t nail your virtual interview, you might as well be waving a flag that says “I’m unprepared!”. But guess what? We’ve got your back!

It’s so important that when you are being interviewed, you’re not worrying about your ‘eye placement’ or thinking ‘can they see me?’

Worse, you don’t want to be making a series of unprofessional choices that, without even realizing you’re doing them totally sabotage your opportunity.

Join us for this LIVE 90-minute class on Zoom that includes lots of participation and time for Q&A! You’ll get direct feedback from mentors, Tara Blau Smollen and Stefanie Small, who have decades of on-stage and on-camera experience, and are ready to teach you how to show up like a pro.

Tara and Stefanie will guide you through mastering camera angles, setting up your lighting, and preparing your space so that you look, feel, and present your work with confidence from the beginning of the interview.

Afterward, you’ll receive a digital course book that includes cheat sheets, reminders, and video trainings so you’ll be ready to set yourself apart from the crowd in your next interview!

Your camera presence is crucial to getting a job! Why?

  • First impressions are everything in the virtual world.
  • Professionalism online shows you mean business.
  • You want to stand out from the crowd, not blend in.
  • A polished online persona boosts your confidence.
  • Employers want to see that you can handle the digital workspace like a pro, because how you represent yourself is how they expect you’ll represent them.

But Don’t Just Take Our Word For It:

“I am a recent college graduate and was thrown into Zoom classes at the start of the pandemic. If I had this knowledge then, I would’ve been more engaged and inclined to participate! Their exercises instilled so much more confidence in me. I highly recommend this class for everyone, even if you already think you know the basics.” – Edna T, GCOC Student Attendee

“I wasn’t sure I needed this class initially, but I’m so glad I did it. They got into way more detail than I ever thought about and I feel more aware of how to set myself up on camera now. Thanks!” – Matt S, San Francisco, CA
