The TSIA2 (Texas Success Initiative Assessment) is administered by computer, and test scores are available immediately following test completion. Testing is scheduled by appointment or administered during orientation dates.  Please call the SRSU Testing Center (432-837-8178) to schedule a test administration. If you are not certain you need to complete the full TSI test or individual portion(s), please contact the Office of Enrollment Management at admissions@sulross.edu or 432-837-8055 or 8126.

  • Fees: There is a $58.50 fee for the initial administration of all sections (Reading, Writing, or Math) or $28.50 per individual assessment. The same fees apply for retakes; you may retest as often as needed. Please visit the online marketplace to make the required payments.
  • Pre-Assessment Activity: Before taking the TSIA2, complete and submit a Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA).

  • All in-person testing at Sul Ross is administered in the Testing Center located on the 3rd floor of the Briscoe Administration Building Room 302.
  • Additionally, from here on (as of October 14th, 2025), all TSIA2 related examinees will be required to read, agree to, and sign the Sul Ross State University Testing Center Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology and Medical Device Agreement Form prior to the administration of the exam.
