Registration Instructions

Regular Registration:

You may register online beginning at 12:01 am on the first day of regular registration.  You may add and drop courses online through 11:59 pm on the last day of regular registration.  There is no penalty for adding or dropping courses during regular registration (even if you are dropping all classes).

Late Registration:

You may continue to make schedule changes online through 11:59 pm on the last day of late registration.  You may add and drop courses without penalty during this time.  However, if your initial registration occurs during late registration, you will be assessed a $125 late registration fee.  NOTE: The online registration system will not allow you to drop your last class.  Dropping all classes after the semester begins constitutes a withdrawal from the University.  See Withdrawal From ALL Classes for more information.  A withdrawal after the semester begins also incurs a financial obligation. See the Refund Policy for a schedule of refunds.

For complete online registration instructions, visit the Banner Registration Instructions page.

Registration Instructions

All undergraduates must be advised prior to registration.  To determine where you must go to be advised, check for an advising hold in your mySRSU account. Basic hold information can be viewed under “my Courses” by clicking on “Holds.”  If you see “Must See Lobo Den Advisor”, contact the Lobo Den for an advising appointment at (432) 837-8982.  If you see “Must See Major Advisor”, contact your major department for an advising appointment. For information on other holds, please visit your Student Profile, and click on “Holds” in the upper right corner of the screen. You must be logged in to your mySRSU account to access this information.

Lobo Den Advisees: Once registered, all schedule changes through the end of late registration must be done with your advisor.

Major Advisees: Once advised, you may register on your own and may continue to make schedule changes online through 11:59 pm on the last day of late registration.

Late Registration: You may add and drop courses without penalty during this time.  However, if your initial registration occurs during late registration, you will be assessed a $125 late registration fee.  NOTE: The online registration system will not allow you to drop your last class during late registration.  Dropping all classes after the semester begins constitutes a withdrawal from the University.  See Withdrawal From ALL Classes for more information.  A withdrawal after the semester begins also incurs a financial obligation. To View Holds

To view holds in mySRSU log in using your LoboID and password. Select “Student Dashboard” under “my Account”, then select “My Student Profile.” Click on “Holds” in the upper right corner to view any holds on your account. Click on a hold for more information about the hold, and to determine if it affects registration or other processes. The Drop Limit hold is purely informational, and does not affect the ability to register. If you have any other holds that prevent the registration process, you must clear those holds before you can be advised.  For an explanation of holds and who to contact for help, visit Record and Registration Holds.

To Verify Current Major

To verify your current major, select Student Dashboard, then My Student Profile., Your current curriculum will be listed under Curriculum, Hours & GPA.  To view your information by term, select the term in the upper left of the page.  If the major listed under curriculum information is not correct, you may still be advised by the major department that you have a degree plan with, but you must submit a Change of Degree Information form to your advisor to update your records.  Print the form and take it with you to your advising appointment for a signature from your advisor, then submit the form to BAB 104.
