Residential Living at Sul Ross State University provides a convenient, economical living arrangement for students as they pursue their academic goals. University housing options include two residence halls, efficiency apartments and family housing. The Residential Living team is eager to assist in any way possible that will foster a healthy living/learning environment for students here at Sul Ross.

To submit a work request: Please contact a resident assistant (RA) or call us in the office at (432) 837-8190. We will submit a work request on your behalf to the Physical Plant.
Tripling Overflow Housing Information
Due to the numerous applications that we have received this year, we are in our overflow assignment process. This means that we are having to triple our residents in the Lobo Villages and use every space we have available, that is livable, to accommodate all of our residents. Therefore, some residents that are located in the "B" assignment will be having an additional bed located in their bed space. This bed is for the resident who will be in the "C" assignment location in the room. The "B" and "C" assignment will share that bed space and its contents until room can be made elsewhere due to cancelations, withdraws, no shows, and move-outs. While we understand this inconvenience, this is necessary to accommodate the high demand to attend Sul Ross State University. For student's inconvenience, we do offer a compensation plan. We will discount rooms for any one located in a triple assignment $100 on the first day of class, $50 after the first week of class, and $25 dollars every week thereafter until reassigned to a permanent room. Again triple assignments are only temporary and we will do our best to move our triple assignments out as room does come available.
We do ask that during this process anyone located in the "B" or "C" assignment not move furniture (the extra bed) from their room after their "C" assignment has left or doesn't show up. Our staff will be around to dissemble and remove those beds from your room in a timely manner. If you do still have an empty triple in your room by the 3rd day of class, we do ask that you contact our office so that we are able to check to see if you do have a triple assignment and/or remove the extra bed from your room. Removing this furniture, yourself will incur the resident of that room being charged $50 for removal of University Property and any damages that may occur.
